Sandie,
As I recall we had a volunteer literature chair at the time who held
the packets and postage for distribution. Where the stock went
and what the balances are if there are any was out of my perview.
Anybody have an answer for this?
Jerry

Thank you Jerry for reviewing the Financial Statements and pointing out
that no further funds have been spent on "Newcomer Packets"-
Did you turn over a inventory of "Newcomer Packets" to our new Treasurer?
How many of the original packets are still available?
Whose responsibility is it to ask the newcomer if they would like a newcomer
packet?
"It is moved that ASP send Newcomers Packets to new members that are - new
to ASP, new to Al-Anon and who request it. Fulfillment expenses to come out
of the ASP treasury budget"
>From the comments that I have read there are many of our Business meeting
Members who have quit sending $ -- to ASP waiting for this discussion to be
sorted out. It has been a long time since the basket has been passed and we
still have funds above the prudent reserve. I am quite confident that if we
needed funds above our prudent reserve we could "pass a extra basket" in
the meeting.
Just my thoughts!
Al-Anon Love & Hugs
Sandie
