I agree with Laura about the privacy issue that newcomer packets present.  I think it would be helpfuf to let the newcomer know, perhaps  by having it in writing on the application for membership, that these helpful packets are available, free, and we are willing to mail them one if requested.  However, they should be aware that they are optional because sending one's name and address would break their anonymity.  I think it should be left up to the newcomer. I also don't believe we would be sending $300 worth of packets out at all.
 Thank you Jerry for finding those motions. I would like to see us disburse what we rightfully agreeded to send WSO up to this point, very soon.  Then we can start fresh with a projected prudent resurve for next year.  If we need more money to get through this year than we had planed for, we could always deduct what we need before sending it all to WSO and make up for that deduction to WSO the following year.Emee
