Thank you Jerry for explaining
the reason you stopped the contributions to WSO. I remember at that time
wanting to donate to both WSO & OLAIS, as I was led to believe that OLAIS
was the Al-Anon service arm that helped on-line meetings. We even had that
position filled with an OLA representative in our group. Nothing came of that…there
were no reports to the business meeting nor to the group about what we were
doing with OLAIS.

It is obvious to me, by one of
our leader's own past shares, that this SC officer has a personal resentment
with WSO and has been letting 'personalities over the principles' influence this
decision. OLAIS is not an actual Al-Anon service arm as far as I know, so unless
I am wrong, it is clear to me now that WSO the only Al-Anon service arm we have
to support. ASP may not be considered an official Al-Anon group with all the rights of a f2f group but we are a
registered Al-Anon meeting, and part of WSO.
