Asp has been a lifesaver for me over the years. My face-to-face meetings, working the steps, lit and service work have also been lifesavers. Al-Anon, as an entire package, has worked (worldwide), for 65 years. The closer our meetings reflect that system, which has given so many people new ways of living, the more people we can help in the future.
    This business meeting is a great start. People who go to face to face meetings can watch to see practices that work to keep the meetings safe, on topic, and functional for the greatest number of people.
    One of the practices in all of my meetings is the reading of paragraphs at the beginning and end of every meeting about Al-Anon expectations. The wording comes from Al-Anon literature. I can get copies of those daily reminders if we need examples.
