Hi all, just got back OL today after 5 1/2 days off due to horrible storm
damage to my house and property here in the Southern US.  There were almost
300 unread emails waiting on me here at ASP - way too much to read even if
I was sane - so I deleted, deleted, deleted as I do most days when the
amount is overwhelming.

Have you thought about cutting out the daily meeting and settling down to
2-3 meetings per week?  That would give us late thinkers a chance to digest
topics and respond or respond after being away from computer a day or two
or whatever reasons we have.

With over 1300 members, daily meetings is way too much email unless a
person is glued to the computer day and night, 24/7.  I am not, I have a
life outside computer land where I practice my program in real time with
f2f people and f2f situations.  I can't do that sitting on the computer all
the time.

I could see having daily meetings if your membership was 300-500 of even
partially active members.  Daily is way too much for as many members as you
have.  Or, another thought, have your moderators delete the inactive
members and cut down on the numbers so a truer picture can be discerned.

Keep It Simple.  And G-d, please no more storms!!
