Some of the greatest growth in my Al-Anon recovery came through service.  Being of service in Al-Anon transformed me, it gave me confidence in my abilities and greatly enhanced my self esteem.  It took me out of myself and helped me to meet new Al-Anon members from around the world.  

Here in ASP we have two more opportunities to serve, that of archivist and that of Treasurer.  The archivist position has never been filled but in the course of our last business meetings and steering committee meetings it is becoming apparent that we need a archivist.. Preferably someone who has good computer skills! We also need a new Treasurer and I believe Melanie will fill us in on the Treasurer duties and the time commitment. Both of these positions will be part of the steering committee. 

We have a number of excellent members in ASP that are more than capable of handling either of these positions.. think about enhancing your Al-Anon program through service.
