Jerry H. made a motion and I think it is as clear as this topic is going to
be:  How do we proceed from here simply agree to the motion, if so I do.

Jerry's motion:
"The Business Committee Chair may call for a straw poll during the
discussion of an Agenda Item, but before a motion is formed, in order
to collect committee attendees' positions and input which may help form a
motion that is acceptable to a substantial majority."
