[Businessmtg] New Comer emails

I like Jane's suggestion of offering a choice to new comers being
introduced to the group. When I receive a "please welcome" from a greeter I
send a message of support and welcome to the individual. In many instances
I get a thank you response. To me it is same as talking to a new comer in
f2f meetings. IMHO I feel it is better to send the message to the new comer
instead of interrupting the meeting. If the welcomes are an issue to people
unsubscribing, possibly the greeter format could be changed asking "please
welcome" to not be sent to the meeting. Thank you. Juanita (JT)
