[Businessmtg] Questions

Hi Barbara,

I tend to agree with you, sort of, but I feel that I should clarify a few
things.

First, the resume belongs to ASP, not to the SC. It was the ASP Business
Meeting that created the resume, and the Business Meeting that later
modified the resume. The SC has no authority to make changes the resume.

Second, while I like the idea of trusted servants having a working knowledge
of our 3 legacies - the core of the Al-Anon program - my experience is that
service is where our members get to experience the application our
principles in action - or lack of principles in action.

Third, a far more important criteria or question I would like to see added
to the resume of a Steering Committee trusted servant would be something
like "How important is it for a trusted servant to honor and comply with the
group conscience of ASP, especially in challenging situations such as a
situation where you disagree with the group conscience?"

In fact, I'd like to ask our two candidates for the At Large Positions to
respond to that question.

Love and SERENITY,
Steve
