I do not know what this "motion #4" is that Steve is referencing. Going by
the service documents on the website, the Treasurer "Reports monthly to
Steering Committee and Business Committee". Since the treasurer produces
the reports that are out on the website, accessible to all, (
http://asp-afg.org/members/tradition-7/), I don't see any reason to divert
our discussion from the issue at hand, which is what to do about the past
meeting. If you want to read the treasurer report, please do. If you have
specific questions regarding the report that is pertinent to the issue at
hand, please ask. Otherwise, please refrain from making comments that are
not specific to the issue at hand.
If the business meeting wants to table this pending the outcome of the
newcomer committee, that is something we can do - but we still have to
decide on it as a business meeting; the newcomer committee cannot make
decisions, they can only make recommendations.
