[Businessmtg] A summary of where we currently are

[ASP Secretary]

OK, there has been quite a bit of divergence in the past 12 hours or
so...let's see where we are:

- We are in the discussion phase of the KBDM process on the issue "Does ASP
want to fund and restart the Beginners Packet program or should we move to
cancel the motion which created it?"

-There are no motions on the floor about this issue, and since we are in
discussion, I will not accept one until we come to consensus. Please
remember this is not parliamentary procedure, it is KBDM.

-Treasurer reports are out on the member website. If you read them and have
questions that pertain to the issue at hand, ask them. If it doesn't
pertain to the issue at hand, please refrain from sending it.

-Other newcomer issues, such as what the newcomer committee (if
established) will do, a newcomer meeting, what we want to send the
newcomers, etc, are not germane to this issue. Please stick to the issue at
hand.
