[Businessmtg] Results of the poll

Hi all:

I've been with ASP since December. I enjoy the leads and the shares. I signed up for the business meeting.

I'm totally confused. I don't remember a poll. Does that mean I left the meeting?

My opinion as a newcomer is that I would have appreciated a downloadable PDF welcome packet, not one in the mail. I realize that some things are covered by copyright, but a printable PDF sheet with welcome info would have been appreciated, but not missed. I did have to go back and forth to the website a lot.

I'd suggest that the month long business meeting via inefficient email be changed to a set monthly meeting time on a phone bridge so that we could talk about the agenda and make motions, seconds and have discussions in a more understandable and civilized manner and get it done in a couple of hours. This format is hard to follow.

Thank you Laura for your service.

It would seem we are in need of a secretary so all other things that happened or didn't should be tabled until next month.

I'm not sure I can make such a motion because I'm well, just not sure 🤔. I'm not even sure if I left the meeting. Did I or didn't I. 😉 I am totes confused.

I think ASP needs a pause in business to get our collective consciousness on track. Nothing is worth this break in our serenity.

Aye Carumba,

Hugs and healing thoughts,

Giovanna B

Steve,

I will have to look it up if you want documentation, but we had a
discussion some time ago in the SC (I believe) about how if someone doesn't
vote, it is as though s/he has left the room, so s/he isn't counted in the
totals.

There is always an option to abstain, so if no one chooses that option, I
will say "no abstentions." I don't think those who elect not to vote at all
should be counted because they have effectively left the meeting.

Now, if we want to include those who are included in the business meeting
but choose not to vote, that's fine, but then before posting the result, I
will need an updated count of who is still receiving the emails and
therefore counted as participating.
