[Businessmtg] FW: Recent discussions of steering committee

Hi folks,

I'm still trying to determine if Sandie's note to the Business Meeting was the official Steering Committee report or not, and to determine if some of the statements in the "report" were representative of the Steering Committee or of the List Administrator.

Hugs,
Steve

Sandie,

An interesting response, but unfortunately it did nothing to answer my questions.

I'll respond more directly to this note later, but first I'd appreciate answers to my questions.

Steve

Steve in answer to your questions. Sorry I was a little short yesterday in my response but we had a crises on our hands - as I reported to the Steering Committee I discovered that there were 278 emails that had been sent to the Greeter mailbox that had been ignored. We had really one Greeter operating and she did not realize that no one else was answering emails.

That took precedence yesterday.. our volunteers responded to all 278 emails yesterday and have been subscribing new members. We have also signed up 6/7 new Greeters.

Why did this happen? You stated very strongly in the Steering Committee that the Greeter Chair was not my subordinate and that what she did was not my business.,

If this body does not think I am doing my job - I am more than willing to step down.

Sandie

No - there is no official Steering Committee report. I didn't see any one else jumping up to write it. A couple members of the Steering Comittee did write in.,

Further there has never been a report from the Steering Committee to the Business Meeting..

As Jane put it if someone did not agree with the decision they did not voice it.

Did the Steering Committee come to a consensus on placing you in moderated status? More than 1/2 requested that you be moderated due to your bullying. I made a autonomous decision to place you in moderated status and you are on moderated status in this Business Meeting due to your behavior. The Secretary at the time made the decsion.

Members of the Steering Committee have been openly chastised for not following your "rules" both in the Steering Committee and in the Business Meeting.

We just went through a issue with KBDM. This meeting has never had a discussion using KBDM. Later today or tomorrow we will start the next discussion using KBDM.,
