[Businessmtg] Call to Service - ASP needs a new Treasurer

ASP Business Meeting Members,

ASP's Treasurer has asked to be relieved from her service position. As 
happens to many, her circumstances no longer permit her to fulfill the 
remainder of her term. Receiving and recording member donations, 
managing ASP's bank account, and reporting our financial state to the 
group's Business Meetings are important and necessary parts of ASP's 
continuing success.

Consider serving ASP in this capacity. The new Treasurer will have to:
- Open a PO Box for receiving mailed donations.
- Open a bank account for deposits.
   (NOTE: As banking laws now stand the treasurer will need to provide 
the bank with their social security number as a part of the account 
application.)
- Become familiar with PayPal and be able to move PayPal donations into 
the ASP bank account.
- Maintain ASP's Tradition7 Register for posting monthly on our website.

Having been ASP's treasurer in the past I believe the total time 
commitment for these duties, once the initial accounts are set up, will 
be about two hours a week. The work is easy and the contact with members 
is rewarding as is being of service.

Note that ASP's Treasurer, as a group officer, also serves as a member 
of ASP's Steering Committee. There are service requirements which 
candidates must meet to hold a Steering Committee post. You will find 
them outlined on ASP's Resume Form.
