Thanks to all who serve and share here. 




My first two ASP business meetings were too much for my sensitive being to take, I left both about half way through. I knew I was too fragile to make sense of what looked to me like confusing  discussion and multiple rage quits of trusted servants.



February meeting I was able to stick with it and even spoke. However, that one first quite brief post prompted unsolicited private correction from a member that was confusing and painful to an apparently still sensitive spot in me for that type of feedback. I am far enough into my recovery that I used that situation to grow: discussing it with the GOMU, journaling, speaking to a trusted Al-Anon Member without gossiping, and further observation. So I do not have a complaint against this corrective person because my emotions are my responsibility and I am not a victim.



At this meeting, I am contributing only what I know is helpful: my thanks and my educated vote. I am observing and learning other helpful ways of contributing as time goes on but I am not feeling safe for a learn by failure process here.



Today, just for today, this is all I know to do in an ASP business meeting and that's going to have to be enough.
