Hi All,

My question for ASP is, Does your treasurer's position/bank used not
require a co-signer?  i.e. a person who can take over in an emergency or in
case the elected treasurer has to or wants to step down?

In all my years in Al-Anon and having served as a treasurer on 5 different
levels f2f (and in other non-profit situations as well), I have never known
of a bank that did not require a co-signer for a non-profit bank account.

I am also in another OL Al-Anon group that has two treasurer positions, one
Stateside, one International.  Both deal with banks that require co-signers
for non-profits.  This protects the bank as well as the non-profit.
