Thanks for the information BJ.

So the motion that was in place at the time mentioned by BJ and Jerry:

"That a temporary committee be formed, answerable to the Business Committee, 
to reassess ASP's newcomer-related materials and how ASP could better serve 
newcomer needs."

is still in place. 

>From the list I see three (and possibly 4 if the Anne mentioned is the same Anne here) of the members of the committee are in this meeting.
Based on the most recent report, work has been done, materials are distributed, and a discussion was in process. 

I first of all thank these people for doing what they've done already. 

I think it is most simple to ask these trusted servants to  to continue their work, asking for help if they need it. I defer to them, since work is already begun, and I trust them to find the best direction based on their discussion.
