Hi BM Friends:
I've been reading everyone's thoughts on this and digesting them, and I am tending to agree with those members who reminded me that newcomer's have some responsibility on their part also.  Being "helpful" to the point I have done for others what they should be doing for themselves could well apply here.  I got to my first meeting, kicking and screaming.  I resisted it, did not like it, didn't want anything to do with it, yet I kept coming back?  Hmmmm

My opinion at this time is to not revive the Newcomer Committee.  There is a ton of information already there for the newcomer if they should choose to seek and read.  They are also able to contact a single member in the meeting and ask further questions.  I appreciate
seeing the links to the newcomers and the greeters, which I have not paid attention to in the past.  They are very thorough.
