Hi All,

Having worked in this field  both legally and via 12 Steppers, one can
advise the abused or those aware of abuse how to, where and to whom to
report abuse.  Also a valid program member can get permission from the
abused or those aware of it to report it.  Just because 12 Steppers make
intervention calls when asked does not mean the people they visit are or
automatically become program members.

Within Al-Anon, AA, Alateen, the level of anonymity is up to the
individual.  Those of us who have done 12 Step work or worked with the
public are aware of this and so should any program members who are thinking
of taking on a service position involving the public, i.e. being invited to
speak before a group of non-members (care-givers, medical personnel,
police, etc.), even providing CAL to a library or leaving it at a doctor's
office or when answering/making 12 calls.
