Hi Business Friends:
My opinion is to not pursue the newcomer committee or newcomer meeting at this time.  Rather than leave it in limbo (if it is an unresolved issue), I would suggest it be disbanded.

I do believe that newcomers get special attention when they come to ASP, not only by the Greeters, but by many who do make a point to welcome them in their share.  Some also address what brought them to Al-Anon.  The answers to their questions are on the website if they choose to take the time (just as pamphlets are available at f2f meetings if they choose to take the time).  And when they ask a question, I'm willing to bet they are inundated with private responses, similar to when one is taken under someone's wing after a f2f meeting.

Having said all that, I would just add that I do love newcomers and newcomer meetings!  lol
