Biz-Pals, 

There seems to be a little confusion about the topic. 

We are talking about the Newcomers' Committee created by an ASP group
conscience - whether there are ideas or thoughts about how this
committee could add to the newcomer's experience, or whether it should
be abandoned (it was after all created as a temporary committee, but
never got a real chance to operate primarily because other more pressing
BM issues came along.) 

If we have good ideas which may enhance newcomer's ASP experience I
believe we should try them out. Any such work would need an organizing
body and I believe activating the Newcomer's Committee would offer that
support. 

BTW, the topic is not "Beginners' Meeting." A beginners' meeting could
be a part of the conversation within the Newcomers' Committee, but
discussion of this, here, is premature.
