Jerry, 

Your description of the "consensus" very specifically included purging the
existing archives. IMHO, that was inappropriate and contrary to our KBDM
process because there was no consensus on that detail. 

Only 4 members made any mention of purging or removing the existing archive,
yours included. Therefore, there is no consensus on that point. 

The Chair is responsible for seeing that motions. Our KBDM process states
"Motions on issues that came from the KBDM phase must reflect all points
agreed upon in the KBDM phase."  

Obviously, it follows points that were not agreed upon cannot be included in
the motion. Otherwise, our group conscience process would devolve into the
same kind of politics that we see in government which is hardly reflects our
Al-Anon principles.

If you wish to include purging the existing archive in the group conscience
- which you have said you do - then the group must first reach a consensus
on THAT point before it can be included in the description of the consensus.
