[Businessmtg] Greeter - Requirements for Serving

Good morning Biz-Pals, 

We have a consensus demonstrating this Business Meeting's willingness to
address ASP's requirements to serve as an ASP Greeter or Topic Chair. 

ASP's Greeter Position 

We now move on a focused discussion of ASP's current requirement for
serving as an ASP Greeter - that members must have a minimum of one year
of participation in ASP before being eligible to serve in this position.


I remind all that we are using ASP's Knowledge-Based Decision Making
[KBDM] process at this stage of our discussions. Our current goal is not
to just "agree" or "disagree" with any suggested change, but to become
informed on our current requirements, the reasons for considering
possible changes to these requirements, and considerations of the
potential impact of any proposed change. 

I have asked Anne O., our Greeter Chair, to introduce this topic and her
reasons for suggesting possible changes. We will have a minimum of a
week of discussions on this topic beginning today. 

The table is now open for discussion of ASP's requirement that ASP
members must have one year of ASP participation before serving as an ASP
Greeter.

discussions result in a consensus would we move on to a Robert's Rules
format, entertain a formal motion, & etc.
