Thank You Anne for the lead

I think 6 months of active participation on the ASP email group gives
enough time to get exposure to get the hang of how to post correctly and be
able to apply to be Greeter and go through training.

Reflecting on the KBDM that address challenges and the nature of Al-Anon
service. Service makes the fellowship continue. Greeter or Refreshment
Person In the 3D world were the most common service for the New Comer.  It
was usually that those positions were the gate way to Group Secretary
Treasurer or Literature ect.

Those entry level type service positions really helped to keep coming back.
The last thing I would want is to make it harder for the New Comer to be
willing and able to serve.

In this digital setting, ASP Greeter would be the equivalent and because of
the unique nature 6 months being a Participant could provide the experience
that’s needed. I feel we need candidates that feel that this style of
Al-Anon recovery is worthwhile. Any less time may not be sustainable in
trusted servant retention.
