Hi Anne,

lazy) and took an email sent by a prior chairperson to craft my own. I did

I’m not clear on exactly what this means.
Jerry asked, “it seems there was an administrative decision to elevate the
service
requirement [for greeter and topic chair] from six month's
participation to one year. Could someone please relate the
input/reasoning which prompted this change? I think it would help us
understand why one year was chosen over six months.“
Anne, are you answering Jerry’s question or something else? Was this change
of 6 months to 12 months a typo? An administrative decision? Or was there a
group conscience to change it? I agree with Jerry that the answer to this
question could help us further flush out this issue.
I do not agree however that this is an administrative decision to change
from 12 months participation to 6 months, even if that was what was done
previously. I think a group conscience is the Al-Anon way.
