Kathy,

Yes. As the Treasurer and Secretary positions are officer positions with 
seats on the Steering Committee, members who are also members of A.A. 
may not serve in these or other Steering Committee positions.

This decision was made to keep ASP in line with Al-Anon's policy of 
restricting members of A.A. from serving in positions which may include 
making decisions which could affect Al-Anon beyond the group level, to 
prevent conflicts of interest, and to assure Al-Anon of its singleness 
of purpose. [My recollection of the reasoning behind the passed motion.]
