In response to Jerrys question regarding email communication :

"I'd also like to hear from all of you on how email communication may hinder
the open dialogue and discussions so vital to reasoning things out and
reaching consensus."

I actually love it. My son was recently diagnosed with a learning
disability. ,in his ability to process information at write it out
coherently.
I honestly think I have a bit of a LD in the exact opposite manner. What is
in my brain, never seems to orally compute in a manner that seems at all
clear to others. I get tongue-tied and people seem bewildered and that
whittles away my self esteem..

I'm not saying that this is an excuse for me to hide, isolate and not
attend F2F. However, I get more serenity from reading and writing. I feel
calmer. Closer to my HP . I know some don't see it as service work,
,(writing out esh or lead shares) but I do. Reading and writing shares is
conduit to others and my HP and It helps me greatly.
And I have had others share that my shares helped them and vice versa. To
me , that's what it's about.connectivity....and the written word is easier
for me to process for healing purposes.

I actually think the business meeting is run well and it makes sense to me.
I can compute and I feel connected , even when there is discourse. If I
dont understand , I feel comfortable asking and if I still dont
understand..I'm okay ..I do my best to learn and grow.
I have served in a service capacity as a trusted servant in f2f business
and I always felt out of sorts and a bit rejected. I never felt like
anything clicked. It caused me a lot of anxiety.
I know this is my problem , and I'm working on it. .But ASP is actually
HELPING me with this socially awkward conundrum... All of it (written/f2f)
is a growing experience for me, bc it has helped me develop relationships
in the "real world."

At the end of the day, ASP is my safe place. I'm extremely grateful my HP
led me to it and I enjoy the Business meetings as well. I hope to
participate and serve in meaningful ways in the future.

Thanks for your time.
