[Businessmtg] Eligibility/Willingness to Serve

Biz-Pals, 

A week ago I posed a request to BM members: If you are eligible to stand
for ASP's Secretary or Treasurer positions (one year of prior ASP
service), send me a note. I have received no notes and thus presume that
there are no BM members present in this meeting who are eligible and
willing to stand for these offices making it nonsensical to pursue
filling these positions using ASP's group-conscience approved
guidelines. 

The reasons behind ASP's guidelines for service are sound and an
important part of A Serenity Place's many years of successful online
recovery for our members. We now seem to be in a position where we must
either lower our guidelines or fail to be self-supporting in service.
Either has grave risks for ASP's future and thus the recovery so many of
us find here.
