Hi all.

Some folks with years vs some with months,,, i totally understand the fact
that time in Al-Anon counts, in chairing or other services.

Considering the situation with co-vid and that there seems to be plenty of
folks who could and would do a great job,  we might take it into account
that the 6 month rule need not always apply.

Perhaps if someone with less than 6 months wishes to chair, hook them up
with an older Al-Anon person for the first few chairs/weeks-- as mentor
just for the initial few weeks and a go-to if he or she gets "stuck. "

Or ask the newer chairperson to run by a mentor his or her first chairs to
make sure they are meeting appropriate. Before sending out to the group.
