Good morning folks,

    I agree that there needs to be more involvement from other members to
facilitate the jobs that need to be done.  I have not been involved enough
to be able to suggest which to whom.

    IMHO Anne's observations were right on.  While our principles and
policies are sound, meetings healthy and thriving, our SC roles and
responsibilities lack consistency.  The expectations are high for a
newcomer.  The role of the LA at times can be much for one person.  Those
volunteer positions that require work on a daily basis do contribute to
burnout.

  I am in support of having a clear job descriptions for the committee
members. I also believe that the expectation of the founder being the
permanent chair takes away from the opportunity for others to grow from
that experience.

  I have been in a silent mode for the last couple of years so I don't feel
like I have an understanding of what changes have been made in that
time period, other that what I am reading here.  Whatever the majority
decides I will support.

  I am glad to be back.
