Hello all,
Thanks for the thoughtful discussion.  I am in favor of allowing discretion
in cases where members with six months of ASP membership have not
volunteered to serve and members with almost six months have.  The FAQs on
our website call it a "suggested six-month membership period."  I think
allowing a little wiggle room is consistent with that.
