I appreciate Anne's focus on first things first--how do we feel about the
proposal to amend Motion 4?  The new information from WSC is quite a lot to
digest, but at the end of the day, when it comes to updating our service
structure ala what's being proposed to amend Motion 4, the big issue I see
is adding the position of GR.

I'm in favor of accepting the proposed amendment.

I am also hearing that it would be good for us to do more to attract people
to attend business meeting and consider filling service positions.  As Anne
pointed out, we are looking to fill 3 positions (2 if we don't add a GR,
but I think it's pretty clear that we need to add the GR position).

We have a very large group with a teeny tiny percentage of people taking
part in service.That's not good for the overall health of the group.  I do
think that more needs to be done to attract people to attend business
meetings and make people aware of service needs that our group has.
