Hi ASP Business Meeting Members,
We’ve had 10 of 25 non-steering committee members provide input about the proposed policy surrounding revitalizing the Information Board. If you have not provided input, we encourage you to please do that. Our discussion/input phase will close early morning Sunday US time. Below are the details on which to provide input. Thanks in advance for your participation. Mary A.

> Hi ASPers,
>
> Thanks to everyone who provided input into our Motion 4 discussion. We will continue our discussion about Motion 4 at the next business meeting in July.
>
> We are ready to move to the next agenda item which is to revisit revitalizing the ASP website’s Information Board. At our last meeting, a majority of the attending members provided input that they thought it was a good idea to revitalize the Information Board. No one voiced an opinion that it should not be revitalized.
>
> This month, we will discuss the parameters of what should appear on the information board website. After some Steering Committee (SC) discussion on this matter, we would like to propose that the Information Board include the following notices/content:
> 1. Announcements concerning new Conference Approved Literature
> 2. Regional, National, and International Conferences
> 3. Announcements from the Al-Anon World Service Organization.
> 4. Link to assist members in finding local meetings.
>
> The SC recommends that updating the Information Board will become the responsibility of the secretary.
>
> The SC's opinion is that posting local conferences and meetings would be too cumbersome and also add a more substantive workload to the person whose job it becomes to keep the website updated.
>
> Please provide input about the proposed content noted above and also about the secretary becoming responsible to keep the Information Board updated.
>
> We will have 7 days for discussion on this item. In order for us to reach some kind of consensus, we need a large number of participating business meeting members to provide input. After the discussion, should we reach consensus and time permits, a motion will need to be made about revitalizing Information Board and we will vote on that motion.
