Hi friends,
    Thank you Kelly for your report.   It is interesting to see how many
new members we get monthly.  I can appreciate that a healthy membership is
needed for a healthy meeting.

    I do have a question and forgive my ignorance, but what do we do with
these numbers besides have them for our own knowledge?  Do they determine
how many greeters we have?

  Steve provided us with a plethora of numbers regarding several other
metrics that we should look at before drawing any conclusions.   I don't
mean to sound rude again, but what conclusions?    Is the membership in
decline?  If so, what does that mean to our group?   What can we do to
prevent this from happening?
Do we track all this information and report it consistently?   I can see
how 500 new electronic groups could influence our numbers, so my question
remains, what do we do with this information?
