Hi everyone,

This is my first report as List Administrator. I think I've got a handle 
on most of the routine things that the list administrator needs to do 
and have found that Steve, Anne and Kelly have been very supportive and 
helpful when I have questions about things that arise that I haven't 
dealt with yet and it is a pleasure working with them on the steering 
committee!

Here is the run down of what I've been doing the last couple months. I 
won't repeat this in the next business meeting, but just giving 
background as a lot of what I've done in the last couple months is to 
get up and running.  The biggest components of this job are 1) keeping 
the server running smoothly and dealing with any issues that arrive and 
2) being the go to person for members to ask for help with any technical 
issue. That can be assistance in unsubscribing, changing email addresses 
and helping with any other issues members run into. If you see someone 
post in the main meeting that they want to be unsubscribed or have their 
email address changed, I'm the one that does that.

As an add on to what Steve said about the numbers, I laughed to myself 
about figuring out the number of people that unsubscribe. I'm new and I 
really love data and have been really interested in this kind of 
information since before I became the list administrator. So yesterday I 
had actually gone through and counted up how many people unsubscribed in 
May and June as well as how many unique people shared in each month. :)

So to add to Steve's and Kelley's information:

The number of people who unsubscribed each month were:

May: 27

June: 22

The number of unique people who shared each month - this doesn't take 
into account the frequency that they shared - some share daily and 
others once or twice a month. This complements the numbers Steve shared 
about the number of shares per day. But this is the number of unique 
people that shared each month:

May: 124

June: 122

If people are interested in this type of information, I'm happy to 
provide this information at each business meeting. I'll probably track 
this for myself anyway. :)
