[Businessmtg] Filling daily chair positions.

Acknowledging that I am not the one who has had to recruit, schedule and fill in vacancies, it has seemed to me that since joining ASP in July of 2019, each term has been completely and competently filled with only a couple of minor whoopsies along the way.  I’m wondering if we are actually putting effort here into an issue that was a problem in the past but isn’t so at the present time. 

Whenever possible,  I do think it is important to honor the criteria that have been decided by the group, Steering Committee, or however they were set-up. It also seems to me that the person who is responsible for overseeing this service function should be trusted and given the leeway to make reasonable adjustments when necessary 
[ Concept 3,  The right of decision makes effective leadership possible].  Informally, I have always heard there are no musts in Al-Anon, so I ask why would sliding the scale intelligently, if needed, be a serious problem?
