Hi everyone,
According to the CMA update Steve provided, the new Area is actively setting up a bank account to accept donations. They have also elected officers who are meeting weekly and an Area delegate attended the WSC. While it is unknown how long it will take to set up the Area bank account, I do feel that the Area is now a real entity that we should be supporting.
How about splitting the donations 50/50 with the Area and WSO? In practical terms, that would mean donating half of the nearly $1000 over the new PR to the WSO now and on an ongoing basis and holding onto the other half until the Area has completed setting up their bank account.
Hugs,
Lynne

ASP covers its own expenses, but currently we're not fully self-supporting in the manner that's traditionally been understood.
