Hi everyone,

My thoughts so far, but first a question. What types of electronic meetings are there besides email and zoom meetings? It makes sense to me that the first thing to sort meetings into districts would be to have the same type of meetings in districts. The experience of ASP would be completely different than a zoom meeting and if districts are meant to provide a resource for similar groups, then sorting by type of meeting seems like a first step. 

Also, secondary sorting by geography or language might be different based on the type of meeting. For instance, an email meeting like ASP, is made up of international members, but all in English. We use this email form for our business meetings and steering committee discussions, which means it doesn’t matter where in the world you live or the time zone for participation. So maybe email meetings could be put into districts by language. I understand district meetings are generally held in person or virtually by zoom, but I see no reason a district of email meetings couldn’t conduct their district meeting by … email. But I am new to all this. :) 

However, zoom meetings have much more likelihood of being attended by people in a closer geographic area, so they might be better separated into districts by language and geography, closer to how F2F meetings are organized.
