[Businessmtg] declaration

I respecfully disagree with adding the declaration to Saturday. The
Saturday closing is already rather lengthy. I think adding the declaration
to that might be overly wordy and cause it to get lost. Personally, I'm
still in favor of adding it to Friday, or any day that doesn't already have
a closing.

Although I don't read the opening and closing every day anymore, I find
that when my days are darkest I need the comfort and ritual of reading (or
hearing in a f2f) those words the most.

We're discussing the declaration this meeting, but in the future I think
it would be worth adding a short closing to each meeting that doesn't
currently have one. "Keep coming back, It works if you work it, and What
you see here..." are a few that come to mind. It would give a more polished
feel, and also introduce newcomers to a wider array of Al-Anon wisdom.

Thanks for listening,
Marilyn
