[Businessmtg] Newcomer information

Hello,

I support providing an electronic packet for newcomers. It seems logical to
pair the distribution with the greeter committee.

I love ASP. I am so thankful that someone in a F2F mentioned attending and
I asked her how to find it. I am glad, however, that I came to ASP after
being in F2F meetings, as even as a 2 year member it took me a bit to
understand how things worked to also have to understand how Al-Anon works
at the same time, would have been difficult.

Perhaps we should qualify: are you new to AL-ANON or new to ASP? Not all
newcomers may need the packet. As many may come to the meeting as I did,
desiring the additional support of a daily check-in.

Having the newcomer packet information, like many have suggested, was both
welcoming and helped explain what was happening in the meeting and how
Al-Anon works. I'm glad we are discussing this!
