  Also, the wording says "offer" a newcomer packet. Perhaps the greeters
could add wording to the newcomer email that says "if you would like an
electronic packet, let me know." Maybe offer via the more popular ebook
services.... Kindle and Apple... and add a link for the newcomer to
purchase it themselves instead. Then the greeters forward the request to
the Treasurer.

  Or, we could pre-purchase a small amount of the packets in bulk, to limit
the amount of times the Treasurer has to purchase them. This would also
eliminate anyone other than the Treasurer having access to funds.
