Hi Folks.  I have been thinking about the wording of what we are voting
on.  IMHO the wording seems messy.  How about we clarify and be more
specific?

My suggestion is we make two separate motions.

And when we vote we would be voting on these two motions.

#26). Motion to repeal motion 7, which states:  “it is moved that ASP send
newcomers packets to new members that are - new to ASP, new to Al - Anon
and who request it. Fulfillment expenses to come out of the ASP treasury
budget.”

#27). Motion to add newcomer link to greeter email as follows:
https.//al-anon.org/series/welcome-newcomers/.

I chose the order in which I wrote them based on motion no. 7
chronologically came first.  So it made sense to me to write that one
first.  And add the newcomer link motion as our newest motion, #27.

And if this needs more tweaking and or thought we can always table it to
continue the next business meeting and vote then.  So not to force a
solution, but another suggestion for input.
