The suggestion seems to be a good way to properly review a candidate that
might not have the service time listed in asp motions. While I agree that
having trusted servants who understand ASP is important,  I think the right
candidates are able to be trained to do the service with the support of the
steering committee.

My experience in attending business meetings concerns me that if we wait to
make voted on decisions on changing the Motions, it could be months before
help is in place. I appreciate the flexibility of this idea coming from the
current board and the fact that the business meeting would still elect the
new members.

Hoping we can come to a decision and the SC can get support soon. I think
it is an unfair burden on the SC  to continue this way, not to mention the
traditions and concept concerns. Thank you for this flexible in thinking
idea.
