Good morning folks,

   I would like to address Betsy's question. I think that given the nature
of our group, being online, 24/7, the fact that some attend and participate
and others watch from the sidelines, there is always going to be one sort
of barrier or another.  There are so many that it could be, time, location,
experience, other obligations, etc.

 I am not clear if the question applies to me personally in the position of
Greeter Chair or if the question refers to the group in general.

For me, in the position, I think the barrier would be that although I have
served as a greeter previously, I am coming in blind to the position of
Greeter Chair, so lack of experience.  There will be many questions and a
time to learn.  As long as I have adequate training, I feel that I will be
able to perform.

   If the question applied to the group, which was my first interpretation,
I think it is a personal need, sometimes we are in the mood, other times we
have no motivation whatsoever.  The only thing I can think of to promote
more participation in the business aspect of ASP is maybe if we were to
have a couple of shares on "service", perhaps "OT".   How it helps in the
program, how it helps personally, and how it helps others.  Maybe explain
the positions a bit more in depth and the time commitment needed to do the
jobs that are currently available.
