[Businessmtg] qualifying for consideration on the steering committee

To clarify my suggestion at the beginning of the meeting:  I recommended at least ONE YEAR of active participation in ASP with at least SIX MONTHS in an appointed service position to qualify an individual to voluntarily apply for a position on the steering committee.   I also supporedt the proposal that was approved at the last business meeting allowing the current steering committee to interview and recommend candidates on a case-by-case basis that don't yet meet those criteria.   ASP's HP has the final say during the business meeting group conscious where other qualifying or disqualifying factors can be considered before the vote.
