Hi Linda,
A discussion around archiving shares would be outside of the List Administrator duties. But you could bring it to the steering committee as a topic for a future meeting.
This was before my time, but Motion 19 from Feb 2019 (it was not passed) was about discontinuing the archiving of emails. I think that is the last time this was discussed.
