All,

 

September/October were busy months for the Global Electronic Area (GEA).
There was a call put out to the Group Rep's, looking for volunteers for the
following positions.  GEA Technology Coordinator - this is an appointed
position; the other two open positions require a vote at Assembly, the GEA
was seeking a Secretary and Treasurer volunteer.  The voting assembly took
place on 10/28 and Malinda P. was elected GEA Secretary and Marthanne E.
was elected GEA Treasurer.  There are no updates on the GEA Technology
Coordinator position at this time.  The deadline for applicants is November
17.

 

On December 2nd, there will be another assembly.  At this meeting, the
Districting Task Force will present their position on how to create
districts within our GEA.  This task force used the foundation that was
presented by the Districting Thought Force earlier this year to build a plan
for what I hope is a viable solution to a complex challenge.

 

And finally, the WSO has published a new daily reader this year reader - A
Little Time for Myself - A Collection of Al-Anon Personal Experiences (B-34,
Al-Anon's newest daily reader, English version)  it is now in stock. Item
