[Businessmtg] Implementation of Motion 26

Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you an update on the implementation of Motion 26, which 
was passed in the last Business meeting in July. Motion 26 says: "I move 
to repeal Motion 7 and send new members information on Al-Anon newcomer 
electronic resources available on the Al-Anon website."

The steering committee met by zoom last month to discuss how to 
implement this motion and we decided to create a new webpage on the ASP 
members website with the newcomer electronic resources that are 
available on the Al-anon website. This page is in process of being built 
- the Steering Committee agreed on what it should include, Anne set up 
the new page and Betsy is now working on adding the images and links and 
will update the relevant menus on the website. Once the webpage is 
complete, then Jennifer will update the greeter email templates to 
include a link to this webpage and will then work with the greeters to 
implement this change.

As an aside, I really appreciate working with the others on the steering 
committee. It is a collaborative group of people and I can see the 
traditions and concepts in action - and I am learning more about Al anon 
the longer I am a part of it.
