[Businessmtg] GEA districting

Hey y’all, I may have missed something, so kindly let me know if I’m on the wrong path here. I appreciate all the opinions as it helps to understand everything. 

When I was in SC our district had about 20 meetings, zoom, call in and  F2F, but the area had more like 100+ combined. It was the same across the border in Charlotte, NC.  Middle Tennessee doesn’t divide it out on the website and I missed the area meeting last night to see how they operate, but they have about 115 meetings for the entire area. 

It seems to me the GEA are only dividing out into districts, and not the small, big, bigger to World as done in the states. I assume it is done the same way in other countries, but I know I shouldn’t assume such things. Would it be beneficial to keep the districts and then have a larger area before it heads right to World? 

As it was mentioned in an other email, I am also wondering about the control issue in the GEA leadership. This is not an easy task though.
