TREASUER’S COMMENTS:
My report to the July Business Meeting spoke about the decline in member donations.  I looked at a number of possible contributing factors.  While I couldn't do anything about most of them, I could pass the Seventh Tradition basket more often, so I made an executive decision to start doing that.  The result has been positive for the most part.  However, the more significant explanation for our improved flow of donations is that we received donations from six members of $100 or more in July and August.  On the other hand, September donations were off the pace at just $60 total.  I'll note that my wife and I have been on the road wandering around the west in our RV since September 6th, and I didn't pass the basket mid-month and we didn't receive any donations after September 7th.  More shall be revealed.
